These terms of use cover CurvedTextGen, the free curved text generator at curvedtextgen.com. By using the site, you agree to them. They're written in plain English on purpose — you shouldn't need a lawyer to understand the rules for a free text tool.

Free use

CurvedTextGen is free to use. There is no signup, no subscription, and no paid tier. You can use the generator as often as you like, for as many designs as you like, without paying us anything. We may change or add features over time, but the core generator described on this site is offered free of charge.

Your designs are yours

The designs you create with CurvedTextGen belong to you. You can download them as PNG or SVG and use them however you want — including commercial use, like products you sell, logos for your business, or designs for your clients. We don't claim any ownership over what you make, and we don't ask for credit or royalties.

That said, the words you put into the tool are your responsibility. If you curve someone else's copyrighted text or a trademarked slogan into a design, that's on you, not on us. Don't assume that using our tool gives you rights to text or marks that weren't yours to begin with. The same applies to fonts: the generator uses fonts available on your device and the web, and licensing for any particular font is between you and whoever made it.

Acceptable use

Use the site for what it's for: making curved text designs. Please don't try to break, overload, or misuse it — no attempts to disrupt the site, probe it for weaknesses, or use it to harm others. Don't use the generator to produce content that is unlawful, defamatory, or that violates someone else's rights, and don't try to pass off the site's own branding or copy as your own.

If someone abuses the site in a way that affects other users or costs us real money to deal with, we may restrict or block access. That's rare, but the right stays with us.

Trademarks and other people's rights

Don't reproduce trademarks, logos, or brand names that belong to others through the tool in a way that infringes on their rights — for example, curving a famous brand's logo text onto products you're selling as if they came from that brand. CurvedTextGen itself, including its name and the site's design and copy, remains ours; these terms don't give you a license to use our branding.

No warranty — the tool is provided as-is

CurvedTextGen is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. We do our best to keep it working smoothly, but we can't promise it will always be available, free of errors, or exactly suited to your project. Browsers behave differently, and small rendering differences between devices are normal. If a download doesn't come out the way you need, try a different browser or the other export format — and if something looks genuinely broken, let us know.

Liability limits

To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for losses that come from using (or not being able to use) the site — for example, if an export has a flaw and you print a batch of shirts with it, the cost of reprinting isn't ours. This doesn't limit anything the law says can't be limited. In any case, our total liability for anything connected to the site won't exceed the amount you paid us to use it — which, since the site is free, is zero.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms if the site changes — for example, if new features arrive. When we do, we'll update the "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the site after changes means you accept the updated terms. If a change is significant, we'll say so here in plain language.
